On 6th August 2025, the Be Me Project delivered a wellbeing workshop in partnership with the Tyler Abdul Foundation, focused on identity, emotions, stress, and self-care for young girls aged 11–14. Designed to be inclusive and accessible, the workshop welcomed attendees from multiple local schools, many of whom had never met before.
Across four carefully structured topics, the session encouraged girls to explore who they are, recognise modern stressors, understand their emotions, and think about what self-care looks like for them personally. The activities were delivered in fun, interactive ways, creating a safe and supportive space where every attendee took part and meaningful conversations naturally emerged.
With full attendance and 100% engagement throughout the session, the workshop demonstrated the real impact of early, age-appropriate wellbeing support. The statement below outlines the purpose, delivery, and outcomes of the workshop in more detail, alongside reflections on its success and future plans.
