Youth Ambassador Programme
At the Tyler Abdul Foundation, we believe that meaningful change starts with the people it affects most — young people themselves. That’s why we are proud to launch our Youth Ambassador Programme, a key initiative designed to put young voices at the heart of youth suicide prevention.
Mental Health Workshops
Delivering accessible and relevant workshops focused on youth mental health. These workshops are made not just to inform, but to equip and empower young people — helping them understand their mental health, recognise signs of distress in themselves and others, and know how and where to seek help.
Raise Awareness - End The Stigma
TyFo can be found at events in and around Surrey, gathering data, raising awareness of the mental health crisis and signposting people to support. We also challenge cultural beliefs and norms in order to break the stigma surrounding poor mental health and suicide, encouraging more open conversations.
University Student Wellbeing
TyFo are carrying out research to understand the state of wellbeing in university students, the wellbeing services available to them, and the existing gaps, with the objective of working with universities to close those gaps in order to improve student wellbeing, highlighting the challenges students face.
